Design of the Tippmann Gryphon Paintball Marker
Looks wise the Gryphon is a classic looking and lightweight marker with an inline blowback feature. The design is loosely based on another classic, the Model 98 marker except for a few obvious differences.
The paintball marker is build to last, with a high composite body and a simple two finger blade trigger which is quite comfortable grip wise. A locking vertical feed comes standard with the marker, where the hopper is placed.
The main intention of the gun is to deliver performance and accuracy to first time players, and it certainly does that. In addition to that, the Gryphon is an entry level marker, and the first one that has an internal gas-line which gives the gun a much cleaner and sleeker look.
A Deliverer of Great Performance
As a player of the sport you must know that paintball is an incredibly tactical and strategic game where you have to plan, think, act and communicate all on the go. For beginners therefore, learning how to move, locate threats and play coolly even under pressure is a must. This gun will make sure to add a little to your confidence, seeing as it performs just like it’s supposed to and more.
The performance of the Gryphon overall is pretty impressive, even for an entry level gun. With the ability of shooting 8 balls per second with a gravity fed hopper, and a comfortable and firm trigger grip lends a helping hand of the player’s performance.
Another equally impressive feature of the Gryphon is that the marker handles even the most brittle paints with relative ease and little to no amount of breakage.
Loads of Options for Upgrading
The Gryphon has an almost limitless number of options that players can choose from to upgrade. You can even make your gun closely resemble a M16 rifle!
